Sporting Woman Quarterly to Host Debutante Party for Spring Issue at USWPF's Red Carpet Events in Palm Beach and Wellington
Announcing its launch as the new U.S. women's sports magazine source, Sporting Woman Quarterly ("SW Quarterly") will debut on newstands in early Spring 2005. SW Quarterly had its beginning online in 2002 as a source for luxury sports aficionadas to locate VIP luxury sporting information. A continued demand for a printed version in hand has led to its cover to cover debut. SW Quarterly is launching the Spring Issue's promotion in conjunction with the United States Women's Polo Federation's Championship Play-Offs in Palm Beach. Reserving a chic corporate village tent onsite at the event, Sporting Woman Quarterly will also add to its promotional itinerary a hosted party on Worth Avenue for the debut Spring Issue alongside "sporting debutantes" appearing at the USWPF's 3-day Red Carpet Sporting Event.
Wellington, FL (PRWEB) November 5, 2004 - The women's sports industry heralds an announcement today that the lauch of a new U.S. women's sports magazine title, Sporting WomanQuarterly ("SW Quarterly"), will debut on newstands in early Spring 2005.
SW Quarterly will be hosting a very chic gala event over New Year's eve weekend in conjunction with the United States Women's Polo Federation's Championship Play-Offs. Reserving a luxury corporate village tent onsite at the Play-Offs, SW Quarterly has just begun its partnering with certain Worth Avenue locations, Palm Beach debutantes, and other area society figures to develop a unique sports industry fashion spread which they will promote in their tent at the 3-day Red Carpet Sporting Event in Wellington and Palm Beach.
SW Quarterly, an innovative sports lifestyle magazine, will feature seasonal highlights of women's luxury sporting events, including polo and equestrian events, golf, tennis, and premium international sports. The magazine will be initially comprised of ten (10) sections, expanding into sixteen (16) over the next year. These sections will cover the seasons finest sporting events, athlete interviews, sporting trends, sportswear lines and accessories, sporting goods, travel information, promotional events, dates and ticket information. Seasonal selections for sport and fitness resorts, travel, dining and accomodations will also be showcased in the quarterly among its behind-the-scenes interviews and sports features. SW Quarterly had its beginning online in 2002 as a source for luxury sports aficionadas to locate VIP luxury sporting event information. A continued demand for a printed version in hand has led to its cover to cover debut. The new women's title will launch with an initial rate base of 400,000.
Our primary goal is to bring the womens luxury sports calendar with ease into the hands of the well-heeled sports socialite or enthusiast 25-49+ who works from a social secretary or social calendar, attending regular sporting events and related charity functions," the magazine announced. A historical perspective of womens sports will be featured in the first print issue. SW Quarterlys Editor-in-Chief is en route and will be announced shortly as her negotiations are finalized. The glamourous, yet to be announced, Editor will be making a splash in-person with her own "debut" first appearance in six weeks at SW's corporate village tent, where she will also host a special press conference in the company of some of her celebrity friends.
Leading the Spring Issue's seasonal sporting event calendar will be a feature article on the renaissance society horsewoman, President and League Commissioner of the United States Women's Polo Federation, Kimberly Carr-Cavallo, as well as a special commemoratory feature on Palm Beach sporting women C.Z. Guest and Anne Stevens Hamilton, regulars on the social outing scene.
SW Quarterly is hosting its Palm Beach area launch in conjunction with the United States Womens Polo Federations Championship Play-Offs in Wellington, FL, where there is already a buzz about extended visibility for the magazine. The pre-launch marketing staff is experiencing an incredible level of success, bringing in some heavy hitters as regular quarterly seasonal advertisers. As a premium sports magazine, SW Quarterly is positioned to reach an extensive and diverse womens demographic base, specifically in the mid- to high income ranges.
Some of the first chief advertisers to come on board with SW Quarterly in its initial launch period include the sponsors of the United States Womens Polo Federations 2003/2004 Season Championship Polo Play-Offs, an excellent reciprocal sports alliance. These national advertisers and polo enthusiasts are anxious to rally behind the womens magazine in support of womens luxury sports on a local and national basis. Polished sports attendees, such as those at polo, equestrian, golf and tennis outings have proven to be definitive consumers of luxury goods. With gift bags in hand from such sponsors as St. John Boutique and Clive Christian, VIPs will wander from flatscreened champagne tents to make-over booths and trunk shows hosted by SW Quarterly.
