Six Things You May Have Forgotten About Yourself

Inserting a childs wonder into your current life and the person you want to be. Six questions you can ask that can bring enlightenment and joy to your future.

(PRWEB) November 5, 2004 -- When you are thinking about who you want to be in the future it is sometimes helpful to remember who you wanted to be in the past. Certainly you have changed and your goals and desires have changed. If you explore some forgotten pieces of yourself though you may find clues to your personal truth. So ask yourself these questions and see what comes up for you.

1. When you were seven years old what did you want to be when you grew up?
2. When you were in elementary school what was your favorite subject (besides recess)? Why?
3. When you wrote in your diary or lay on your bed daydreaming about the future as a preteen what were those dreams? (Again, besides being adored by that cute insert appropriate gender here)
4. When you talked with your friends as a teenager what dreams for the future did you share?
5. Who was the adult you disliked the most as a child? Why?
6. Who was the adult you liked the most as a child? Why?

Now ask yourself how you can incorporate that child and young adults wonder and dreams into the person you want to be in your current life.

These six questions are an excerpt from the Personal Strategic Planning Manual modified from a process Cj Hallberg of R-Vision developed for the Public Benefit and Private Enterprise Sectors strategic planning. Now she focuses on a holistic approach to the individual desiring to create his or her own future. The result is a synergy between all aspects of a life that allows for the pursuit of dreams, the actualization of joy and energy into every day and the guidance to get you where you want to be.

In todays American culture, balancing life -- family, career, friends, interests, money, love -- all requires thoughtful integration of mind, body and spirit with planning and clear intentions." Hallberg explains. You can learn more about this process by visiting www.rvision.net/services.html or writing to cj@rvision.net
