Orange County's Performers Academy Offers Affordable Acting Programs Taught by Film Director Jeff Celentano

Film Director Jeff Celentano heads up acting programs at Orange County's The Performers Academy. The programs offers workshops to children, teens, and adults.

(PRWEB) November 6, 2004 -- Film Director Jeff Celentano is Executive Director of Acting at The Performers Academy located in Laguna Hills, California. Jeff teaches all forms of acting including introduction to Meisner Acting Techniques.

Jeff is a writer and film director who has directed such films as Primary Suspect with William Baldwin, written and directed Gunshy with Academy Award Winner Diane Lane, William Peterson (CSI) and Michael Wincott. Written and directed Under the Hula Moon with Stephen Baldwin, Chris Penn and Emily Lloyd. Just completed directing Moscow Heat scheduled for release in 2005 starring Michael York and Adrian Paul.

The Performer's Academy, located at 24310 Moulton Parkway, Suite I, in Laguna Hills, California offers workshops for children, teens and adults from the beginner to experienced actor. The academy is owned by Natalie Costa whose passion to help her own 11 year old daughter's pursuit of the arts created this amazing establishment.

Classes are offered in cold read, scene study, monologue, comdey, tv commercial, episodic television and film.

In addition to Director Jeff Celentano, the Stanislavski Acting Division is headed by Eric Scott Gould, MFA from Yale School of Drama. Eric is also an actor, writer and soon to be film director. He currently can be seen on the hit TV show, "Without a Trace". Eric teaches workshops for performers of all ages.

Workshops are also availabe in musical theatre, voice and dance. The Performers Academy offers a baby ballet program for young dances ages 2+ and the cost is $3.50 per class. Hip Hop is hosted by T.J. "Rhythm" Hawkins, a gifted dancer and choreographer from the LA area. Dance classes are $6.50 per class.

Monthly affordable programs are offered for acting and theatre, and this is an execllent alternative to high priced tuition based franchise acting schools.

Master's Classes for the truly gifted actor are offered and participants must audition prior to acceptance. The Performers Academy is dedicated providing the best coaching for performers of all ages.
