The retail product line includes Traditional Almond Paste and Marzipan, Roasted Almond Butter, Roasted Hazelnut Praline, Natural Pistachio Nut Paste, Baker’s Style Prune Lekvar, Poppy Seed Filling, Almond “Schmear” ™ and NY Blackout Chocolate “Schmear” ™. Each product comes freshly packed in a convenient pop-top can with re-sealable lid. Pack sizes range from 15 to 16 ounces each, 6 cans per case. On the back of each label, consumers will find recipes for Almond Tea Cake, Frozen Hazelnut Parfait and Chocolate Almond Fudge Sauce among other sweet and savory delights.

American Almond Products Company was founded in 1924 by Carl Peckler, an Austrian baker looking to recreate the world-renowned nut pastes he and his family enjoyed in their homeland.
