Compilation of Young Woman's Writings to be Released in Book Form on November 14, 2004

While we all write for various reasons, only a few of us have the opportunity to share our writings with the world. Shannon Kish, age 23, has been given a chance to do just that- share her writing with the world.

(PRWEB) November 6, 2004 -- "Writing has always been something I love to do, but until now, my writing was just for me" says Kish.

Ramblings from a Captured Heart is to be released on November 14, 2004 from PublishAmerica. Contained within this book are the writings of a young woman whose heart's desire is to seek the Lord and to make Him known. These writings are meant to inspire and encourage fellow Christians in their walk with Christ as well as to challenge them in their daily life.

This dream of sharing her writing with the world came as a friend of Kish, Lanny Throckmorton, encouraged her to compile them into manuscript form. With the support of family and friends Shannon was able to compile and send her newly formed manuscript to publishers across the US.

Ramblings takes us through a 30 day process of growth. In her inspiring book Shannon uses personal experiences and things that she has learned to challenge the reader.

Born in Willingboro, New Jersey Shannon Kish was raised in Southern California. She is presently a senior at Union University expected to graduate in May, 2005. She is pursuing her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Christian Studies.

Shannon has been involved in several ministries and has worked with several groups of people. She became a Christian in 1999, her senior year of high school. After attending a youth convention she felt the call of God to attend an internship with Teen Mania Ministries Honor Academy. She completed her internship in December of 2001 and went on to attend college at Union University.

She has been involved in her local church for several years leading a small group of 10-15 young girls. She has also been a part of various other ministries. Shannon plans to continue her education in the field of professional Christian counseling and later in discipleship.
