MarriageRomance.com wants to help engaged couples have the perfect wedding. So they are giving away $200 to the best true church wedding story.

We are looking for the most romantic, informative, helpful and interesting true church wedding story. We plan to give away $200 to the winner of the best true wedding story.

The story should describe how you and your spouse met and the background preparations for your wedding day. (don't use real names) You can go into detail about preparations and make recommendations to our readers of the do's and don'ts of planning a wedding. We want singles to be able to learn from these stories about how they can plan the perfect wedding. You may spend lots of time telling about the preparations for your wedding.

Then tell us all about your wedding day. How did the preparations turn out? How did it all come together? Spend some time telling us about how your special day went. And the ceremony ... don't forget to describe how beautiful the ceremony was and how you felt repeating the vows ... we want it to be, as if we were there ... Try to weave into your story interesting things that happened and romantic moments.

Did you have a church wedding? Was the reception at the church or at an inexpensive alternative? Was your wedding inexpensive? Wedding costs have skyrocketed in the past 30 years primarily because couples feel everyone expects them to provide elaborate dinners and dances as part of the wedding.

As part of your story, please tell us about how much your wedding cost. We are hoping to give our readers some ideas of how to have an inexpensive wedding. Recently I was visiting with an engaged couple and they explained how their newly wed friends started off their marriage with loads of debt from an elaborate wedding. They explained how this debt is putting stress on young marriages.

We are hoping to give engaged couples some ideas for inexpensive weddings. The traditional church wedding with the reception in the church seems ideal. We hope to receive many romantic stories that glamorize inexpensive traditional church weddings.

Once you have told us all about how you prepared and implemented your wedding and how the wedding day went, if you want, you may share about your wedding night.

Your story can be 3 to 7 pages and may be mild, medium or hot. If your writing describes your wedding night, you may want to review the rules for medium and hot writings.
