Established originally in the Philippines in 1993 as a tilapia fish hatchery, Jonathan Hatchery System has opened a sister company in the United States. The US company is an interactive media firm in the heart of Los Angeles, taking the same name as the mother company in Asia.
According to Jonathan Reyes, founder of Jonathan Hatchery System, My main goal is to grow this company and support all our existing and potential clients here in the United States, who need interactive media services. Our company aims to provide digital solutions to all small and medium sized businesses in need of quality dynamic websites and database programs. Most of our clients have a lot of unfortunate experiences with database programmers that left their businesses with unfinished programs due to some programmers who charge exorbitant fees and yet, they are not able to finish their projects on time so the database programs of these companies who are terribly needed by their sales department to run and be fully functional as soon as possible, was sometimes left hanging for many years. We aim to change that. In fact, our client base is currently through referral and we want to make sure that we will be able to finish the database or website on the target date. Both me and my partner inform the clients if the web design or database project will be completed in their target completion date. We dont want to lead our clients on and bill our clients yet deliver poor service. This companys foundation is built on clients trust and good customer service. Co-founder and web designer Jella Naguimbing says, Our other goal is to provide jobs in the near future to all highly skilled systems analysts, web developers and other computer programmers here who have lost their jobs either to downsizing, poor economy or outsourcing. There is a vast talent pool of highly skilled computer programmers who are out of jobs in the United States who have switched careers because there is no available avenue for them anymore and companies have resorted to giving programming jobs to people who are outside the United States, when in fact, computer programming is definitely a great & rewarding career because it requires you to continually update your knowledge of the latest computer programs to be able to have that competitive edge. We understand that the economy is down but we shouldnt let the American people down and send jobs elsewhere because what will be left of our future and our childrens future if this continues to happen. We hope to become one of those companies who will make a change in the American computer programming market by providing jobs to those who need it that are living here in America.
