Wayne Rothschild to Head MIT Enterprise Forum Panel

MIT Enterprise Forum sponsored panel discussion on Intellectual Property, featuring Wayne Rothschild, president of Innovation Management, LLC.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Enterprise Forum Chicago chapter announced that Mr. Wayne Rothschild, president and founder of Innovation Management, LLC will head its panel discussion titled “Creating, Protecting and Defending Intellectual Property.”

The discussion will be held on November 17th at 6:00pm CDT at the Chicago offices of Gardner Carton & Douglas.

Mr. Rothschild is an inventor on more than 50 issued and pending patents. He has held executive, management and technical positions with Kraft Foods, General Binding Corporation, WMS Gaming and LTV Aerospace and Defense.

Mr. Rothschild’s company, Innovation Management, LLC, offers product development and intellectual property services to corporations and individual inventors. The core focus is transforming ideas into intellectual property, products and profits. With proven creativity and experience, Innovation Management, LLC assists companies with: strategy, business development, product development, technology transfer, licensing, patent design-around and resolution of other product-related problems.

Other members of the panel include:

•Peter G. Balbus is founder and Managing Director of Pragmaxis, LLC, a management consulting group that specializes in assisting corporations in creating, channeling and commercializing intellectual property assets.

•Darren S. Cahr, an Intellectual Property attorney with the Chicago office of Gardner Carton & Douglas. The Intellectual Property practice at Gardner Carton & Douglas helps clients identify, protect and exploit their full range of intellectual capital.

•Anamaria Cashman is Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. She is responsible for the management and protection of the company's extensive trademark, domain name and copyright portfolio; including management of Playboy's worldwide anti-counterfeiting program and overseeing the prosecution and maintenance of Playboy's trademark portfolio.

•Amy Zecher, Director of Consulting Services for the Midwest region and Vice Chair of the Asset Location and Recovery Practice IPSA International, Inc IPSA International, Inc. is a premier global provider of investigative consulting services – in the areas of fraud, anti-money laundering, due diligence, asset location and recovery and intellectual property.
