Insurance Litigator Mark Rosen to Author Bi-weekly Column for "Caribbean-American Commentary Newspaper""

Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) November 16, 2004 -- Insurance Litigator Mark Rosen to Author Bi-weekly Column for "Caribbean-American Commentary Newspaper".

This bi-weekly feature provides the latest intelligence on current developments in the law, with special emphasis on insurance and consumer matters. Readers are encouraged to contact the author directly for comment or further questions(www.lubellrosen.com).

About Mark Rosen
Mark is an Honor graduate of The University of Florida College of Law, where he served as a board member of The University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy Review, and the Justice Thornal Campbell National Moot Court Board. Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1994, the Florida Bar in 1995, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1995.

Mark practiced law with Peterson, Dillard, Young, Asselin, Powell & Wilson, a well-known Atlanta law firm, for several years. There, his practice included the prosecution and defense of insurance actions, complex commercial litigation and transactions on behalf of corporations, general contractors, insurance companies and banks, and personal injury litigation.

In 1999, Mark decided to bring the knowledge and experience he has gained in private law firms and companies to Lubell & Rosen, P.A. Mr. Rosen is now serving as legal counsel in hundreds of insurance actions on behalf of individuals, hospitals, doctors and other medical providers for unpaid insurance benefits and coverage issues.

Mark serves on the Board of Directors for Easter Seals of Broward County (www.broward.easterseals.com) which provides services to children and adults with disabilities and other special needs, and support to their families. Mark is also the co-founder of the Dade-Broward Business Council (www.dade-broward.com) which is a non-profit, professional South Florida business organization comprised of business owners and decision makers in the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Readers of the "Caribbean American Commentary Newspaper" are sophisticated consumers and with the African American consumers in South Florida, spend more than 3 billion dollars on an annual basis within the state of Florida. With the thousands of Caribbean business people and tourists who visit Florida especially the Tri County of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach and the entertainment centers in Orlando, it can be said that the Caribbean consumers are on an equal footing with any other ethnic group in terms of spending power.

The genesis of the "Caribbean American Commentary Newspaper" was due to the glaring absence of a journalistic vehicle to address the critical role this ethnic group is playing in local, regional and national politics, the economic growth and development of Florida and stability of the Caribbean.
