Riders Interscholastic Federation of North America, Inc. (RIFNA) launches new website. RIFNAÂs, mission is to allocate the means for public and private schools 7th thru 12th grade to have equestrian sports recognized the same as other team school sports. Students of all riding levels and economic backgrounds shall be afforded an opportunity to learn to ride and compete locally and nationally for their schools at accredited farms and have equal access to college scholarships.
Riders Interscholastic Federation of North America, Inc. (RIFNA) is a national organization that functions as a governing body to promote affordable equine activities in the public and private middle and high schools by giving students of all riding levels and economic backgrounds the opportunity to:
-Take affordable riding lessons in up to three disciplines (Western, Dressage, Hunter) from a RIFNA certified Coach.
-Ride and compete at RIFNA accredited facilities that meet stringent safety standards
-Gain show experience by competing in RIFNA sponsored meets and shows locally and nationally.
-Be recognized as athletes in their schools by working with the state governing board to meet the requirements necessary to.
-Have equal access to college scholarships by awarding scholarships from RIFNA, working with colleges to identify potential rider scholarship recipients, and by soliciting support from major corporations.
