Campus Leaders Get Ignited With Passion

Student goverment leaders, resident life, greek life and multiculturalism/diversity leaders from college campuses will learn how passion will make them better leaders and professionals.

(PRWEB) November 13, 2004 -- Darrell Coach D" Andrews, a recognized expert on the topics of finding your passion, leadership and teambuilding has been selected to present at the 2004 West Regional Conference for the National Association for Campus Activities in Reno, NV. He will be equipping college student leaders with the tools they need to be successful as current campus leaders and as future professionals. "The Art of Passionate Leadership" workshop will be presented on Monday, November 15, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. "How To Find Your Passion Your Passion And Make A Living At It" workshop will be on Tuesday, November 16, 10:10 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.    

Mr. Andrews knows personally what it takes for find, live and lead in your passion. He was a leader at his college and the first in his family to graduate from college. This is an amazing feat considering that when he arrived on his college campus, he was not registered to attend neither did he have the money to pay for it. But his passion for more out of life compelled him to pack everything he owned into five garbage bags and hop on the bus to a city where he had never been with a one-way ticket and $42 in his pocket. When reflecting on the experiences, Darrell states, I didnt know where I was going, but it had to be better than where I was."

Again, later in life having a successful corporate career, he once again decided to go after his passion: training and motivating others to maximize their potential. He once again took a leap of faith, left the comfort of his corporate job and started his business. Today, Mr. Andrews is the president of Darrell Andrews Enterprises and FamQuest, Inc. where he is a motivational speaker, life coach, trainer and author. The work that he does has been nationally recognized in helping individuals overcome interpersonal obstacles to success.
