Research and Markets - How is ADME/Tox Data Being Employed in NCE Discovery

Research and Markets (researchandmarkets.com/reports/c9210) has announced the addition of A Survey of ADME-TOX Trends in Drug Development to their offering.

(PRWEB) November 16, 2004 -- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c9210) has announced the addition of A Survey of ADME-TOX Trends in Drug Development to their offering.

The ADME-Tox Trends in Drug Development survey is based on the responses of 281 pharmaceutical scientists and managers who completed a questionnaire fielded earlier in 2004. The goal of the survey was to collect baseline data concerning the current and planned deployment of various ADME-Tox applications in drug discovery and development.

All participants in the Web-based survey were pre-qualified recipients selected from a database of biopharmaceutical report buyers, journal subscribers and attendees of IBC Life Science events. The questionnaire consisted of 29 closed or partially closed-ended questions and one open-ended question designed to encourage further thoughts regarding how ADME/Tox data is being employed in NCE discovery.

The results of this survey convey what those people whose work involves small molecule drug candidate discovery & development have to say about the current and planned deployment of various ADME-Tox applications in this area.
