Widens Access to CRM / SFA with Internet Collaboration and Instant Messaging Services

Share Article, industry leading provider of On-Demand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Sales Force Automation (SFA) services today announced the pending release of its enhanced business collaboration messaging service. Building upon the continuous focus to provide solutions for all business networking problems, Salesboom’s new Web-Based Instant Messenger (IM) System fully addresses interoffice communication dilemmas, providing a fully collaborative business environment for all its employees. The new enhancements to its existing Web-Based Instant Messenger (IM) Service to offer more contextual collaboration capabilities will be deployed internally and across its Value Added Reseller (VAR) network immediately, and is slated for public release in the coming weeks.

Halifax, NS Canada – “Internal business collaboration has been a priority in many organizations for a long time,” Justin Webster, VP Business Development commented. “However as of yet, no other On-Demand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Sales Force Automation (SFA) provider has addressed this issue. Salesboom is set to pioneer the markets in collaborative systems integration (Collaboration Suites) with its CRM offering, and the enhancements to our already versatile instant messaging system are just the beginning. Salesboom understands that internal collaboration, by having a versatile employee collaboration tool, is one of the greatest ways to increase productivity within your employee base, and we’re proud to offer the means to accomplish this in our newest release of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Sales Force Automation (SFA) service offering. Corporate Messaging Services are here to stay.”

By enhancing its current Web-Based Instant Messaging (IM) Service, the Salesboom CRM / SFA service will be much easier to use, more efficient, and make internal team collaboration a much larger focus in the areas of Corporate Messaging. This will help with company-wide collaboration efforts by putting a solid employee collaboration tool directly in front of the users. Based on surveying existing customer bases, the Salesboom On-Demand Instant Messaging (IM) Client will undergo many changes. An enhanced search engine specifically for the message archive will be introduced, allowing users to search through messages much like they can in personal e-mail programs. Also, a ‘group chat’ interface will be introduced, furthering the ability for teams of employees to collaborate on a particular task. This can be made as an event to help with task management, and users are simply invited into the chat by whoever is hosting it. The Group Chat feature will tie intricately into the On Demand Project Management feature, which still has been unparalleled in the On-Demand CRM industry. Further additions have been made to the service which will allow users to use the Instant Messaging (IM) Service more fluidly throughout the Salesboom CRM / SFA application, by introducing many more venues where a user can quickly send a message to a co-worker who has had any fingerprint on the record that is currently being viewed. Furthermore, the Web-Based Employee Collaboration tool will boost productivity by disallowing employees access to popular public instant messengers (IMs) which are frequently used to chat with friends, family and personal acquaintances during company work hours.

“The Salesboom Web-Based Instant Messaging (IM) Service has been a feature that we’ve designed the rest of the application around from the ground up,” commented Rami Hamodah, President and Co-Founder. “Contextual Collaboration has always been a focus of ours. Based on user feedback, Salesboom recently developed many new enhancements to help increase productivity and eliminate the need for insecure public Instant Messaging (IM) software, such as Microsoft’s MSN Messenger®, ICQ®, AOL Instant Messenger®, or the Yahoo Instant Messenger®. We firmly believe that internal employee collaboration tools are an important part of any CRM implementation, and I’m not quite sure how Salesboom’s competition, such as (NYSE: CRM), could have overlooked such basic yet very necessary functionality. Company wide collaboration is one of the biggest parts of CRM, and it’s been shown to increase employee productivity by unimaginable amounts. Salesboom’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Sales Force Automation (SFA) services address these needs, and gives a truly On Demand Instant Messaging Collaboration solution to all of its customers.”

The new functionality included in the Salesboom Enhanced Web-Based Instant Messaging (IM) service has seen preliminary results from internal testing, and shows a high rate of employee adoption. The Web-Based Instant Messaging feature, with many changes designed to increase usability and employee adoption for the new company wide collaboration tool, has seen a huge amount of positive feedback, indicating the newly enhanced feature is heading towards huge success in facilitating employee collaboration efforts. By allowing an inexperienced sales or service agent direct access to more experienced senior agents, resolution for a customer inquiry can be reduced from days to minutes. This type of internal employee collaboration can be directly translated into increased sales and decreased overhead.

The On-Demand Enhanced Instant Messaging (IM) Service will be deployed to all of its customers across all editions in the near future.
