She has had extensive experience in theatre and stand-up comedy, and was a regular contributor to The Investigative Report, at one time a cutting edge parody newspaper in San Francisco. Her commentaries have been broadcast in the San Francisco area on NPR affiliates, and her writing has also appeared in The San Francisco Chronicle.
