Susquehanna Technologies Releases Member Portal Update
Susquehanna Technologies released the latest update to their Member Portal application. Member Portal - Powered by Susquehanna Technologies creates customized and targeted Web sites for associations, non-profits and other member-based organizations.
(PRWEB) November 16, 2004 -- Today, Virginia-based Susquehanna Technologies (SusQtech) announced the formal release of Version 2.0 of its popular Member Portal Application designed for associations, non-profits and other member-based organizations.
Member Portal - Powered by Susquehanna Technologies, generates Web sites that interface directly with the database where information on members, donors and customers is stored. This interface allows members to access and update their own information, providing self-service and minimizing the amount of time necessary to change their records. Members are also able to create profiles by providing such information as geographic location, content preferences, areas of interest and subscriptions to newsletters. This information allows for personalized site content that meets the specific needs of association members.
The initial version of Member Portal launched in early 2004 and included such standard features as targeted and personalized content, event calendars, surveys and polls, and an online store. Member Portal also includes robust content management features that allow association staff to be responsible for and publish their own site content. A built in workflow management system ensures that all content is approved prior to publication. Version 2.0 updates these features and includes tighter integration with Protech CRM for Members, a backend database built on Microsoft CRM.
One of the major enhancements to Member Portal is the increased ability for third-party providers to customize the layout, design and appearance of the Web site. Previously, customization was done exclusively through Susquehanna Technologies creative and development teams. This enhancement corresponds to a new focus on using sales partners to service potential customers outside SusQtechs primary market, the Greater Washington, DC area.
