(PRWEB) November 18, 2004 -- Business Industrial Network increases their industrial product line by introducing a new industrial software suite designed for the Palm PDA operating systems. The Electrist, the first program of the suite recently released on the market has already received rave reviews by end-users in the industry. With over one hundred downloads of the free trial, the palm software may be one of Business Industrial Network's most popular online products lines yet.

The Electrist has the most complete set of electrical and electronic calculations, over 90 formulas & variations. Some of the electronic calculators are Ohm's Law, resistor color code, inductance, capacitance, decibels and more. Some of the electrical calculators are voltage and current dividers, peak-to-peak, Delta/Wye conversion and more. One of the key features that make the Electrist stand out from other similar calculators is it's use of AWG, metric, custom conductor sizes, conductor voltage drop and conductor size selection calculators.

We have had several sales where technicians have actually purchased their first Palm specifically to run the conductor voltage drop and size selection calculators. What makes these two calculators so popular? A voltage drop calculator capable of giving the drop over any length of conductor when given the length and AWG, metric, or user-custom size units. A conductor size selection calculator which when given parameters such as current, length, and maximum voltage drop will return the minimum size of conductor to do the job using ampacity ratings based on NEC Table 310-16.

Future updates to this calculator will include the ability to return the conductor in metric and user-specified sizes and use other ampacity standards beyond NEC Table 310-16 as well. This palm software also comes with life time free update which makes the new product fall in line with Business Industrial Network's goal to always give the customer more than they expect.

This new Palm PDA based software suite is ideal for Business Industrial Network's current industrial training customers, at the same time programs like the Electrist will attract new customers like residential electricians, electronic technicians, as well as engineering professionals, students, and hobbyist.

Business Industrial Network's core business has always been to deliver on-site customized PLC training. The company currently offers over 50 informational products online at affordable prices to fill other needs of their current customer base. The Electrist and other palm programs scheduled for future release are being developed by Red Binary and will be downloadable from Business Industrial Network's websites. (www.BIN95.com/palm/)

I've registered other electronics formula type programs but find this one to be the best in its class." The future release of palm PDA calculators designed by Red Binary will make great additions to Business Industrial Network's product line.
