Baron & Budd, P.C. Names Four New Associates

The law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C. announced today that four new associates have joined the firm. Roxanne Linton joined the firms Baton Rouge, Louisiana office and Denyse Clancy, John Langdoc and Amanda Tyler have joined the firms principal office in Dallas, Texas.

DALLAS, TX (PRWEB) November 18, 2004 -- The law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C. announced today that four new associates have joined the firm. Roxanne Linton joined the firms Baton Rouge, Louisiana office and Denyse Clancy, John Langdoc and Amanda Tyler have joined the firms principal office in Dallas, Texas.

Clancy is an associate in the firms toxic tort litigation section. She received her J.D. summa cum laude in 1999 from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and was class valedictorian and editor of the SMU Air Law Symposium. She received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in English from Yale University and a M.A. degree in English from Columbia University. She is the author of Fraud Claims Under Sections 11 and 12(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1933: Should Pleading with Particularity be Required?, 27 SEC. REG. L. J. 411 (2000) and The Deductibility of the Costs of Aircraft Maintenance, 64 J. AIR L. & COM. 539 (1999).

Linton practices in the firms asbestos litigation section. She received her J.D. in 2004 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Linton also holds a B.A. degree in English from Louisiana State University. She previously served as a law clerk at a firm in Baton Rouge where she worked on family law matters.

Langdoc practices in the firms asbestos litigation section, where he works on employer liability and premises liability matters. He received his J.D. in 2004 from the University of Houston Law Center and holds a B.S. degree in Neuroscience from Baylor University. Prior to entering law school, he worked as a senior research coordinator at Baylor College of Medicine.

Tyler is an associate in the firms appellate section. She received her J.D. with honors in 2004 from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.S. degree, magna cum laude, in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. While in law school, Tyler served as the president of the University of Texas chapter of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy and as administrative editor of Texas Law Review.
