(PRWEB) November 20, 2004 -- LiberalForum.org (http://www.liberalforum.org), a popular political discussion forum, is proud to announce that on November 17th, 2004 the board reached 100,000 posts. The website launched in early 2004, and within the last few months its membership and site activity have grown steadily. LiberalForum.org has over 2,750 members and averages 1,000 new posts and 25-35 new members per day.
I am excited about the progress the forum has made, and realizing 100,000 posts is a motivating milestone for us at LiberalForum.org," said Steven C. Rangel, the owner of the site.
Michael Kwiatkowski, the Senior Moderator at LiberalForum.org states:
"When a trusted vehicle reaches its first 100,000 miles, any remaining traces of that 'new car' feel disappear and it officially becomes a part of the family. It's like that with Liberal Forum. There have been a few bumps in the road (moderating is a thankless task but nothing worth doing is ever easy), but overall the Forum has become part of my extended family."
LiberalForum.org is for self-described liberals, progressives, greens, leftists, socialists, etc. The definition of Liberal we use here covers the entire left side of the political spectrum - its generic for people who believe in individualism, freedom, equality, the social contract and rational evidence-based (as opposed to morality-based) public policy but often disagree on the application of these principles. Its not intended for Conservatives or Libertarians, though they can register and participate in the appropriate Debate forum if they like.
