Nebraska Virtual Assistant Network Now Forming
A group of virtual assistants residing in Nebraska is forming a network to support and promote the benefits of this growing industry.
(PRWEB) November 20, 2004 -- A small group of virtual assistants and those interested in becoming virtual assistants met in Lincoln in October to discuss the need for a networking group to rally and promote the benefits of the virtual assistance industry. The group spent time getting acquainted, discussed marketing strategies, and the need to educate the public about virtual assistance.
Virtual assistants are small business owners who provide a variety of administrative, creative, and/or technical services from their own office on a contractual basis. Virtual assistance is a cost-effective solution for businesses since it eliminates the need to hire a new employee, provide office space, equipment, training, benefits, and vacation time. Virtual assistants communicate with their clients via phone, fax, email, overnight mail, instant messaging, and web conferencing. They become a partner in your business and want to help you succeed.
The Nebraska Virtual Assistance Network will hold a web conference on Tuesday, December 14, at 10:00am Central. All Nebraska virtual assistants or those interested in becoming virtual assistants are invited to participate. Contact Glenda Hinz of HINZ Business Services for information on how to connect to the web conference or for more information on virtual assistance. She can be reached at 402-438-2253 or glenda@hinztime.com.
