ShoppingBrains Releases 2004 Hot Toys List

"The Incredibles" Joins Classic List Favorites Barbie and Elmo

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) November 23, 2004 -- The toy aficionados at ShoppingBrains made their Hot Toy List, checked it twice and knew they had to add a late entry to their annual selection of kid favorites.

"We couldn't ignore the blockbuster success of Disney's lastest creation, The Incredibles," said Claire Schaeffer, ShoppingBrains Editor. "They weren't on the planned list two weeks ago, but when we saw offerings from Hasbro, Fisher-Price, Leapster, Gameboy and others, we knew kids would be demanding their own incredible toys."

ShoppingBrains' top picks from the movie merchandise include Hasbro's RC Incredobile, Leapster's interactive reading experience, and for the younger set the Peek-A-Blocks Incrediblock by Fisher Price.

But not every toy on the list is new to such massive popularity. Parents will recognize retro favorites such as Care Bears, Power Rangers, and Transformers while older brothers and sisters will be surprised to see their younger siblings clamoring for the re-vamped interactive Tamagotchis -- first popular in the 1990s and now featuring the ability to communicate not only with their owner, but with one another.

"Every year, our Christmas Toy List is the most popular feature of our website," reported Schaeffer. "We update the list regularly with new information on which toys are getting difficult to find and provide sources that still have the toys in stock. And if everyone sells out, we do our best to provide alternatives similar to the original toy."
