(PRWEB) November 20, 2004 -- Illuminocity announced today that the last remaining signed version of "David and Goliath" will be auctioned at the "Made in Palestine" Art Exhibit and Auction in White Plains, New York, on Saturday, November 20th 2004.
"David and Goliath" is an international award winning watercolor by the famed Palestinian artist Rana Ghassan. Ghassan is famous for her depictions of Palestinian children. They are brimming with the powerful emotions of children suffering the daily humiliation and cruel reality of an oppressive occupier. Ghassan does not focus directly on the oppressors in her work, but rather, she found ways to use the Palestinian children as a theme to expose social injustices.
Illuminocity Chief Communication Officer Arnold Jackson commented, "David and Goliath" has become incredibly popular over the last few months. Although Illuminocity sold out of signed copies of the print, of which only 100 exist, we held on to a few for events such as this. The print should bring in no less than a few thousand dollars but I wouldn't be suprised if the price goes much higher than that. This is a highly sought after print right now, and the fact that it isn't sold anywhere except by private owners just makes the value go up."
