Altegris Investments Announces New Director of Marketing

Craig W. Gilbert has joined Altegris Investments, Inc. as its Director of Marketing. Mr. Gilberts most recent experience was with New York based WPP Group USA, Inc., parent company to some of the worlds largest strategic marketing communications firms. Mr. Gilbert will lead the existing Altegris marketing department in client relationship and brand-building efforts.

Mr. Gilberts most recent experience prior to joining Altegris was with New York based WPP Group USA, Inc., parent company to some of the worlds largest strategic marketing communications firms. While at WPP, Mr. Gilbert held strategic planning roles with Ogilvy & Mather New York and with Landor Associates New York, working on assignments for a broad range of clients including several leading financial organizations.

Mr. Gilbert will lead the existing Altegris marketing department in client relationship and brand-building efforts, working to help provide high net worth individual investors and institutions with access to quality money managers in the alternative investments space. Mr. Gilbert holds degrees in Applied Mathematics and Architecture from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicagos Graduate School of Business, with concentrations in Finance and Strategy.
