Boyar & Miller Names Chris Hanslik as Shareholder in the Firms Litigation Group

Boyar & Miller, a Houston-based law firm providing representation in business and litigation matters, today announced that Chris Hanslik has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Litigation Group. Hanslik brings to the firm a decade of highly successful business litigation experience that includes representing major U.S. corporations across industry sectors, entrepreneurs, shareholders and individuals at the trial and appellate court level.

(PRWEB) November 24, 2004 -- Boyar & Miller, a Houston-based law firm providing representation in business and litigation matters, today announced that Chris Hanslik has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Litigation Group. Hanslik brings to the firm a decade of highly successful business litigation experience that includes representing major U.S. corporations across industry sectors, entrepreneurs, shareholders and individuals at the trial and appellate court level.

Prior to joining Boyar & Miller, Hanslik was a partner at Ware, Snow, Fogel & Jackson. During his time at the firm, Hanslik represented both plaintiffs and defendants in Federal and State courts. Prior to Ware Snow, Hanslik was a partner in the Houston office of Thompson & Knight, L.L.P. He began his legal career as an associate at Brown, Parker & Leahy L.L.P., which later merged with Thompson & Knight.

In 2004, Hanslik was named by Texas Monthly as a Texas Rising Star." Hanslik is a frequent commentator on business litigation issues and has authored several articles for the Houston Business Journal and Texas Lawyer on topics impacting the regional business and legal community. Additionally, he is a frequent lecturer at the State Bar and at other conferences across the state.

Hanslik is a graduate of South Texas College of Law where he continues to serve as an adjunct professor in its trial advocacy area. During his time at South Texas, he was named to the Order of the Barristers and received the Deans Outstanding Advocate Award after becoming the American Bar Associations National Moot Court Champion and Best Advocate. He received his undergraduate from Southern Methodist University. Hanslik is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association; Board of Directors of SMUs Alumni Association; and a member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeos Speakers Committee.
