SeminarDirect.com, an industry leading financial seminar promotion and marketing company, reported earnings growth of 220 percent for the 3rd quarter of 2004 while posting a 50 percent increase in sales. Douglas J. Dickson, president and CEO for the company, said that Seminar Direct easily surpassed all expectations for the quarter and the year.

"Setting new records every quarter is becoming a great new habit for us, but we feel this is just the beginning," he said. Dickson attributes their success to the effectiveness of their direct mail marketing. He explained, “Our response rates average 3% and that’s double what the typical direct mail campaign can produce. Consumers are going to go where they get the best value for their money.”

Dickson expects 2005 to be equally explosive. Seminar Direct is already well ahead of their forecast growth model in almost every category. "We have outperformed our expectations in every quarter and in every single month this year,” he said.

Their growth is not limited to just the financial seminar marketplace. New postcards originally designed for use with their financial seminar marketing have become a major growth area in other new industry markets. “We originally created the postcard series to compliment our financial seminar invitations. It is part of two wave system of mailing we call the 1-2 punch. The response has been so great that we unexpectedly opened up huge new marketing opportunities in the mortgage and insurance industries,” Dickson said.
