ZPRO Chemical, Inc. is pleased to announce a new affiliated Delaware Corporation ZPRO Pharmaceutical, Inc. (ZPPI) for development and commercialization of ZPRO Chemical, Inc. technology. ZPRO Chemical, Inc. shareholders and investors have agreed to exclusively license all of the anti-obesity technology of ZPRO Chemical, Inc. to ZPPI for FDA approval, commercialization and marketing and have given ZPPI an option to have the technology assigned to ZPPI. The anti-obesity technology acquired by ZPPI relates to fat blockers, lipase inhibitors, anti-cholesterol compounds, dual action compounds, and proprietary dietary fiber supplements.

The Virginia location is designed to leverage the services and expertise available from the Carilion Biomedical Institute, Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia.
