Pure Online, a sex addiction recovery site launched today to help the millions of men around the world who have found the accessibility and anonymity of illicit (and often illegal) material on the internet too big of a temptation to resist. The Pure Online workshop tilts the anonymity of web surfing to its advantage by providing a completely confidential recovery workshop, overcoming what experts and recovering addicts believe to be the biggest roadblock to treatment: fear of exposure. Participants in the workshop can complete the course on their own time, at their own pace and with 100% confidentially.

The Pure Online workshop incorporates the new Macromedia Flash-video format to stream video lessons alongside the workshop content (also in Flash) to each of the program’s participants.

Pure Online founder, Brandon Cotter, has been on a crusade to help men and women struggling with pornography since early 2000. Mr. Cotter financed and led a team responsible for developing a non-profit, online accountability service called NetAccountability that launched in October, 2002 and was sold to friendly rival, Bsafe Online earlier this year. Also this year, Cotter launched a recovery seminar along with 15-year veteran counselor, speaker, author and sexual addiction expert, Joe Dallas. Pure Restoration made national headlines last Valentines Day when it purchased billboards throughout Dallas, Ft. Worth exclaiming, “Her gift for Valentines? Stop looking at porn.”

“What scares me, is that we are witnessing a wave of porn addicted kids as young as 10 years old," says Cotter, "Which just means we have to work harder that ever on prevention and recovery, before the problem spirals further out of control.”

Bernie Anderson, a local pastor who recently was the feature of a Newsweek article on “Pastors and Porn” comments on the workshop, “Joe Dallas does an unbelievable job of helping a guy understand the issues and begin to put a real recovery plan in place.”
