EBooksWriter 2004 - The Easy Software for Ebooks, Manuals, and Small Catalogs

EBooksWriter, VisualVision's professional MSWindows software for creating ebooks, i.e. electronic books, manuals, interactive guides, small catalogues, in short for collecting and protecting information in a compact form is now at version 2004.

(PRWEB) November 30, 2004 -- The 2004 edition keeps the "all in one" particular EBooksWriter's philosophy. So, even if it supplies a wide range of import features, you don't really need other programs (such as MSWord) in order to prepare texts and paging. With EBooksWriter you can start from scratch without ever having to exit the editor dialog.

The fully visual interface allows you to insert backgrounds, images, create frames, mouse over sensitive images and hot spots, show popup windows and much more, everything without writing "code".

The audio and video features have been improved, and so has the "full text" search engine that is automatically inserted within each work. The final user can perform searches with ease by using Boolean operators.

You can still define links visually, by choosing from active preview dialogs where you can click and browse. An exciting new link is the one that provides the ability (in the Gold edition) to add items to the shopping cart: the resulting order form can be printed, faxed or sent by email. This allows you to use EBooksWriter for distributing compact catalogues in electronic format, without any technical knowledge and without learning any coding.

To the already available security protections (128 bit encoding, different password for different users, print and clipboard copy disabling) VisualVision added "antigrabbing", and the "Lock to PC" support with the external software Virtual Vault. When your ebook is installed on the end user's computer, it will require a personal key that will be generated online and will work only on that customer's computer.

The template management has been improved, as well as the "embedded files" management (this is useful for inserting spare information available under particular formats such as DOC, PDF, PPS, Autocad, and more). Now you can run a file without asking the end user's permission, so avoiding any confusion for him. The automatic creation of a hyperlinked table of contents and the management of the tree-view table of contents (or TOC) have been improved. Available show options lets you set position, size, or full screen. There are several other small but useful improvements that will definitely speed up the job for old and new users.
