One Size Doesn't Fit All!
To get the maxx out of your yoga experience and to make that first class memorable in a positive way it is important to take into consideration your needs and your physical health.
(PRWEB) November 28, 2004 -- Yoga is not for the chosen few. Virtually anyone can practice YOGA regardless of age and or physical condition. The secret is to be aware of one's needs and limitations and to find an appropriate class with low student/teacher ratio,a caring talented teacher and a class that will target your needs. Before you make that first call ask yourself why you want to practice YOGA? Is it for Flexibility, do you suffer from a certain medical issue? do you want to RELAX more? become more FOCUSED? do you want to TONE and STRETCH?. The answer could be any or all of the above. When beginning your practice let your teacher know your concerns. Tell your teacher about your goal and togehter decide on a class. Maybe a group class is suitable or maybe you'll benefit from one on one instruction. Whatever the situation talk to your teacher and then decide on a class and a style. Yoga offers something for everyone. So don't be shy. Talk to your teacher. Teachers love to adapt and modify classes. After all we all want a happy student!
Remember stay aware and practice YOGA mindfully.
