Ipedo Launches New Study on Enterprise Information Integration (EII)

Ipedo, a leading provider of information integration and intelligence software, today announced it will conduct a pioneering study focused on enterprise information integration usage trends. The 2004 EII Survey will analyze motivation for EII projects, application areas where organizations are using EII, and the results of such projects.

Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) November 29, 2004 -- There is a tremendous demand for quality information in the way EII is being used in the real world," said Nick Zhang, CEO of Ipedo. It is our goal to deliver a comprehensive report on the state of EII that IT managers can use to accelerate the deployment of this vital new technology in their organizations."

Business and technical managers will gain valuable insights into how their peers are using EII to aggregate and present data to support operational decisions. Architects and developers will learn implementation details about EII deployments in other organizations, such as the number and types of data sources, applications where integrated information will be used, and the team, technology, and tools involved in the development process.

The 2004 EII Survey, available at Ipedos Web site, will gather input during the last six weeks of the year. Participants and accredited news organizations will receive a copy of the summary report after the results are compiled and analyzed in early January. The report will enable comparisons of an individual companys EII initiatives to industry averages.

Enterprise Information Integration
EII is a fast-growing new technology that enables applications to present information on-demand from disparate and complex data sources. EII treats all enterprise data and content as a single, virtual data source that provides users customized, query-based access to the information they need, while leveraging existing IT investments.

According to a recent Gartner Group study on EII, The demand for data integration technologies and best practices for EII continues to grow as enterprises struggle to gain control (consistency, quality and leverage) over the data they are generating at ever-increasing rates." The 2004 EII Survey will provide extensive information on EII usage to supplement increasing analyst coverage.
