The superbly stylish Bright Bike GR-8 lightweight folding electric bicycle is to be launched in November 2004 across Europe.
The GR-8 sets new standards for rider comfort, styling, long range and design. The GR-8 is powered by Nickel Metal Hydride battery technology, allowing over 25 miles/ 35 km from a charge, which costs around 5p/8c. The bike has full suspension and a gel seat for rider comfort. The frame is long enough to accomodate a wide range of rider shapes and sizes, and the gearing is superbly matched to the 20 inch wheels. The hub motor give smooth, quiet performance and the bike also has switchable PAS or throttle contol.
The GR-8 is constructed of 6061 aluminium frame, twin front and rear suspension and super comfortable gel seat. Being a folder it can easily be stowed in a car, RV, Caravan, boat or light aircraft. Giving 'green' mobility at the turn of a key. The Gr-8 has been launched to appeal to those who find that the hills seem to be getting steeper as they get older and the head wind all the stronger. The Bright Bike GR-8 has been designed in Britain by a comblination of cyclists and engineers, to ensure your cycling pleasure will be fulfilled.
Bright Bike is establishing a network of dealers in the UK, Mainland Europe and the USA. Although launched in Novemeber 2004, is will be more widely available in 2005.
