Website Owner Decides to Give it all Away This Holiday Season.
Is the Christmas spirit dead? Have the corporate monsters destroyed Christmas?
(PRWEB) December 1, 2004 -- With all the Holiday sales in the stores, the crowds and the way people act when they see the deal they were looking for leaving the shelves, and people standing in lines for hours to save $20 on a $100 purchase its hard to believe thats the way it should be.
All of this hustle and bustle over the day after Thanksgiving sales so that corporate America can line their pockets with as much of their consumers money as they can.
It was then that Jeremy Kruid decided to be different. He was at the checkouts in a major chain store when a really polite cashier asked How are you today?" and he replied I will be doing better when I am out of this rat race", he looked at her then she smiled and said so will I. It was then when he decided thats not what the holiday spirit is all about and decided to do something different with his website. He decided he would have his holiday sale but rather than trying to line his pockets he would do something different. He decided to donate all of the profits for the month of December to a worthy charity in order to make an attempt to bring back at least a little bit of the true meaning of the holiday spirit. He also decided to let his customers chose which charity. He has set up a email account (submit@homedecoritems.com) where they can submit suggestions for which charity to help him decide.
In short Jeremy Kruid owner of www.homedecoritems.com is trying to bring back the true meaning of the holiday spirit. He would like help to bring back the true meaning of the holidays and help some one else rather than everyone trying to help themselves.
