Voipfone Vamps Up its Voice Over IP Services with Lower Prices and Additional Features
Voipfone, a London-based telephony company, is consolidating its position as the most affordable and comprehensive UK provider of international Voice Over IP (VOIP) and communication services by upgrading its packages for residential and business customers.
(PRWEB) December 1, 2004 -- Voipfones two entry level packages, Voipfone 200 and Voipfone 500, now give customers vastly increased free minutes. Voipfone 200 becomes the Voipfone 500 Home package with 500 minutes of free calls to over 40 destinations for only 9.99 per month, instead of the previous 200 minutes for the same price.
The old Voipfone 500 package has become Voipfone 1000, giving users 1,000 minutes of free calls to over 40 destinations for only 19.99, instead of 500 minutes. Meanwhile, the price of the Voipfone 2000 SOHO package has been reduced from 49.99 to 39.99.
Anyone who signs up to Voipfone will receive 15 minutes of free calls and free SMS text messages, so users can effectively try before they buy.
Furthermore, all Voipfone packages benefit from three new features. The first is an SMS Call Back facility which means GSM mobile phone users can initiate calls by sending a SMS text message containing the destination number. When Voipfones system receives the message, it triggers a callback to the user's mobile phone. As soon as the user answers, the callback system automatically dials the destination number and connects both calls together.
The second new feature, Voipfone Web Call, enables users to make calls world-wide using a conventional telephone. Even if they don't have a broadband connection or are working from a PC that doesnt have Voipfone software installed, they can make calls to any global destination at exceptionally low rates
The third feature, Online Event planner with SMS Alerts, means users can set reminders using their online planner/calendar and receive alerts to their mobile phone so they can keep track of birthdays, meetings and other important fixtures.
