Emich was the Associate Publisher of EMedia, The Digital Studio Magazine for many years, managing all aspects of the magazine's production, management, sales and marketing.

Emich has a BA in Psychology from Ohio State University. She has lived in the Middle East, Canada and the United States. As a businesswoman, Emich has proven herself very effective in an international business environment. She is fluent in German and has extensive speaking ability in several other languages as well. She is active in practicing martial arts and resides in Norwalk, CT with her husband and trio of pet cats.
