Â?Family Time With SantaÂ? interactive DVD creates positive new family holiday tradition.

Santa is amazing,” stated Francis.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) December 2, 2004 – In response to the deterioration of how Santa Claus is portrayed in film, he and Skyro Productions have teamed up to produce "Family Time With Santa." Produced by filmmaker Ray Francis of Salt Lake City, the interactive DVD is sure to delight the whole family. Santa and Skyro Productions have also decided to give a portion of the proceeds directly to nonprofit toy company The Happy Factory, located in Cedar City, Utah. The Happy Factory is comprised entirely of volunteers and has made over 300,000 hand made toys for needy children all over the world. In appreciation of their noble and worthy cause, The Happy Factory volunteers are also featured in the new film.

Ray Francis created "Family Time With Santa" in response to Kris Kringle’s less than admirable reputation in such films "Bad Santa" and the soon to be released "Santa's Slay." According to Francis, "These movies have tainted Santa's image. Many children see these images and parents are very upset that Hollywood filmmakers are so willing to destroy the one person that children look up to and admire."

Starting December 13th through Christmas Eve, families watch a different episode each night just before bedtime. Each episode ranges from six to nine minutes long, for a total of two hours. Parents can also visit the website and download a free countdown calendar for every child -- simply type in the children’s names, and they are ready to countdown the nights right along with the man in red himself. These episodes feature Santa’s favorite hobbies, following your dreams, visiting a taffy factory, ice skating, Mr. and Mrs. Claus at home, taking a one horse open sleigh ride and Santa reading some brand new stories, along with many other surprises.

According to Francis, this type of movie has never been done before. "It takes 12 nights to watch. Santa even tells children that before they can watch the next night’s episode, they must have all their chores done, brush their teeth, and be ready for bed."

"Santa is amazing,” stated Francis. "I never knew he could rollerblade, snow ski, or sing so well."
