lore magazine Launches Interactive Web Site

lore magazine, a year-old national magazine for top-tier real estate professionals celebrating Americas highest-performing real estate leaders and their personal stories, has launched its Web site: www.loremagazine.com.

Littleton, CO (PRWEB) December 4, 2004 -- The new lore magazine Web site will allow industry professionals to subscribe, while also permitting advertisers to download the Media Kit and directly upload creative artwork to the lore magazine ftp site. The Web site will also make it easy for readers in the industry to share potential stories with the editor and publisher of lore. Throughout this first year, we have received many e-mails and letters describing stories about people in the industry that others felt should be shared," says Anne Randolph, publisher of lore. We continue to be amazed at the talent, the unique interests, and the incredible giving of the people in the residential real estate world."

Within the first year, the magazine has covered icons, like Wes Foster, chairman of Long & Foster, Pamela OConnor CEO of RELO and Howard (Hoddy) Hanna, chairman of Howard Hanna Real Estate -- all in the top ten brokerage organizations in the country. Other stories have featured sales associates George Head, a member of the Flying Elviss parachute team, and Victor Paruta, a nationally known psychic.

Among the most touching stories are those about people who have done incredible things for their communities, such as Grange Cuthbert of Prudential Carolinas who with his partners has protected 700 acres of wilderness for wild turkey and other species of the Carolina lowlands, and Shelley Tripp who was once a homeless teenager herself, and now develops halfway houses for troubled and homeless teens.

People have told us that they read the magazine from cover to cover because the stories are so wonderful," says Steve Murray, editor of lore. They love the photography and enjoy getting to know the people behind the headlines."

Initially, the Web site will include the cover and the cover story, but it will expand throughout the year to include other stories and information for the readers.

lore: The Lives of Real Estate, developed by Littleton-based REAL Trends Inc., is delivered to an audience that includes 40,000 sales professionals and settlement service company management in the U.S. realty, mortgage and title industries whose annual incomes exceed $75,000.

The publication has set a new standard for real estate industry publications with high quality design, photography, illustration and production values -- an editorial environment that has attracted more than 30 national advertisers in its first year.

REAL Trends is a publishing and communications company that is widely considered the leading source of analysis and information on the residential brokerage industry, including the REAL Trends 500 Report, an annual ranking of the nations top residential real estate companies.
