– Jewish Singles need not feel left out on Christmas Eve – for the 10th year in a row, is sponsoring "The Ball" on Christmas Eve. The Ball is the nation’s biggest Jewish Singles event (in fact, it’s the country’s biggest "singles event" of any kind) attracting more than 3,000 Jewish Singles, largely in their 20’s and 30’s, each year since 1995. Over 3,500 are expected to attend in 2004. The Ball was designed as a holiday alternative for Jewish singles left with few entertainment options on their most silent night of the year. "Christmas Eve has become like New Year’s Eve for Jewish singles," says founder Jeff Strank.

With the purchase of "Jewniversal Pass" ($25 in advance, $30 at the door), attendees are guaranteed admission to simultaneous parties at two cavernous Manhattan nightclubs – Avalon and The Park as well as the "ultra-VIP" Spider Club – and complimentary use of the twelve limousines reserved to encourage club-hopping between the events. Together the three venues offer 6 DJs, 4 dance floors, 5 lounges, 1, heated outdoor garden, 1 penthouse and full access to each club's VIP areas and lounges. The Ball is geared to Jewish singles seeking fun and, just maybe, love. The event runs from 8 pm – 4 am.

Avalon (660 Sixth Ave at 20th St), with a capacity of 1800 is the super-club in the belly of a landmark gothic church that was built in 1844 (the space formerly housed the famous Limelight nightclub). It features soaring ceilings, glowing Plexiglas floors, back lit walls, multiple DJs (even one in the bathroom), multiple lounges, three skyboxes and a 1,000 person dance floor. The Park (118 10th Ave between 17th and 18th) is the hipster hangout in Chelsea centered around a giant palm tree and featuring fireside lounges, a heated outdoor garden and a penthouse overlooking the lushly planted patios. The Spider Club (47 W 20th St) is the "Super-VIP" club-within-a-club at Avalon, co-owned by Bruce Willis and Dan Aykroyd.
