"Unfinished Business" - Turning Life Regrets Into Future Fulfillment

Clinical studies find that freeing yourself from regrets and recriminations about your unexplored aspirations actually leads to a longer, healthier, happier life.

(PRWEB) December 4, 2004 -- According to Peter Brill, M.D. and David Debin, founders of the non-profit Third Age Foundation, for people in their mid-40s to mid-60s, 'Unfinished Business' is defined as unrealized desires or fantasies about who you are and what you want to experience in life. There are two kinds of unfinished business: Emotional - deals with ghosts of the past, prisons of the present, fears of the future; and, Forward Going - deals with unfulfilled aspirations and experiences you want to have that add passion, purpose and joy to your life. The resolution of this unfinished business can be the difference between a vital, productive life and one of unfulfilled aspirations, increasing boredom and eventual emptiness.

In addition to personal coaching, Brill, M.D./Psychiatrist and Debin, Author/Lecturer, are now leading groups and workshops to help people resolve their unfinished business. Sessions provide an opportunity for ongoing support as groups meet once a week to practice the Seven Step Program and use what they learn to achieve what they desire in life. If you are 50+ and want your third age to be filled with meaning and fulfillment, contact the Third Age Foundation.

Advanced day-long workshops are held at Antioch University, Santa Barbara and La Casa De Maria, a world renowned retreat adjacent to Santa Barbara. La Casa provides the ultimate, affordable place to experience outstanding learning with fellow travelers on the road to greater potential. Licensed therapists are currently being trained to deliver the program.
