Fort Collins (PRWEB) December 5, 2004 -- The first annual RAT Ride, the Rams Alternative Transportation Ride, was a great success. The RAT Ride is a community bicycle tour and fundraiser for the Rams Cycling Scholarship and Team Support Fund(http://RamsCycling.com/scholarship and Team Fort Collins, Preventing Drug and Alcohol Abuse...Together.
    
Rat Ride will be held again this coming year on September 4, 2005. The ride will begin in Fort Collins and consist of multiple routes going throughout Larimer County. All abilities of riders, from children to experienced cyclists, are invited to participate. The longer routes will have mechanical support provided by Lees Cyclery.
        
Rat Ride is sponsored by the Rams Cycling Team, Team Fort Collins, Lees Cyclery & Fitness. The event is promoted by Friends of Rams Cycling (http://FriendsOfRams.org), connecting CSU Alumni to the Rams Cycling Team.
