Gunshopfinder.com Announces "Win A $500 Gun Store Shopping Spree" Contest

Contest intended to increase traffic to the site's subscribing gun and sporting goods stores. No purchase required, and subscribing stores pay nothing.

(PRWEB) December 6, 2004 -- Today, Gunshopfinder.com announced its "Win a $500 Gun Store Shopping Spree" contest. A contestant merely has to visit one of the site's subscribing gun and sporting goods stores, have a sales person sign a piece of paper or a postcard, then mail the paper or postcard to Gunshopfinder.com. The winner will be awarded a $500 certificate for the store he or she visited, which will be paid for by Gunshopfinder.com

"Our goal with this site has always been to bring new customers into our subscribing stores," said Dick Baker, founder of Gunshopfinder.com. "This contest furthers that goal in two ways. First, it provides an added incentive for customers to visit a store they may not be familiar with. Secondly, the contest will give the owners of our subscribing stores a means of measuring the effectiveness of our service for them."

"We would encourage gun and sporting goods stores not already on our site to take advantage of this contest by utilizing our six-month, free trial subscription," Baker continued.

"There is no other site on the internet where gun and sporting goods stores can provide detailed information about their products and services, and have visitors be able to search for those stores using a variety of means. The six-month trial subscription is completely without obligation."

Launched just a few months ago, Gunshopfinder.com is already seeing a remarkable increase in traffic. "Traffic to the site in November was up 250% over October's traffic," said Baker. "We expect this contest to increase our rate of growth even further."

Store owners interested in trying the six-month free trial subscription should contact Gunshopfinder.com by going to the site at http://www.gunshopfinder.com, or by calling at 414-543-1916.
