Shrewsbury, MA (PRWEB) December 8, 2004 -- The Training Associates (TTA"), the largest provider of Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs), has met the requirements of Microsofts Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) program. This new partner designation is a significant re-branding and expansion of the former Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center (CTEC) category. The CPLS competency assures customers of an industry-recognized level of quality, solution breadth and technical understanding when employing TTAs services.

According to Denyse McCuistion, Microsoft CPLS Program Manager, With our emphasis on solution selling, partners are able to build richer end-customer relationships and provide more complete solutions; with its network of strong relationships with our training-center partners, TTA helps to facilitate that model very well."

Vic Melfa, CEO of The Training Associates, added: We expect this action to further enhance our historically close relationship with Microsoft, so that as it rolls out new products and partner initiatives, TTA will have trainers qualified and ready to go. This means that our training-center clients dont have to make that risky investment themselves to enter those new markets. However, we have not altered our focus on our core competencies of recruiting, developing, managing and deploying qualified IT trainers ...which thus enables our clients to focus on their core competencies of providing a full complement of training solutions."

The Training Associates is the oldest and largest provider of permanent and contract IT Trainers, with over 5,000 qualified trainers teaching over 10,000 classes per year in all locations. Leading technology partners include Microsoft, IBM, Intel, HP, Novell, Oracle, and Cisco. Commercial training provider clients include New Horizons, IBM Learning Services, Thomson Learning/NetG/Wave, ExecuTrain, Productivity Point International and CompUSA.
