Lenexa, KS (PRWEB) December 8, 2004
Lenexa based video production studio, Complete Video Productions, finishes off its 15th year producing the nationally broadcast hunting and fishing TV show, The American Outdoorsmanâ, with a bang. For the 2004 year, The American Outdoorsman increased its reach to over forty million households by airing on 4 new networks: Fox Midwest, Fox Digital Net, Comcast Southeast and The MenÂs Channel. The new line-up of networks enabled viewers to see The American Outdoorsman TV Show 5 out of 7 days each week through a total of 10 airings.
Starting this fall, Canadian viewers were also able to start tuning in to all of the hunting and fishing action as The American Outdoorsman began airing on ÂWild TVÂ in Canada, initially reaching an addition 3 million new viewers. Canadian viewers are able to see The American Outdoorsman TV Show a minimum of 5 times each week, increasing the total airings for the TV show to 15+.
ÂCanada has millions of outdoor enthusiasts where hunting and fishing is a way of life, not to mention that Canada has always offered some of the finest hunting and fishing in the world. We are extremely excited about the opportunity to present The American Outdoorsman to the millions of Canadian viewers, says Executive Producer, Robert Fanning. The American Outdoorsman hosts and pro staff will bring to Canadian viewers over a century of hunting and fishing knowledge, expertise and experiences. Robert adds, ÂThe American Outdoorsman offers programming that is not only exciting and enjoyable to watch, but educational. We possess the same passion for the great outdoors as the Canadian viewers, and we will offer them the perfect mix of hunting and fishing experiences from the world over.Â
Over the course of 2004, hosts Fred Ramsay, Mark Tobin and the Pro Staff took viewers on adventures to exotic locations such as Brazil, Costa Rica, and off the coast of Mexico, as well as all corners of The United States, in search of the finest hunting and fishing the world has to offer. Many celebrities, such as Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, also joined in to bring our viewers the highest quality hunting and fishing entertainment. 2005 will be no different, with more episodes featuring South and Central America, Africa, and all over the US already in production.
Not stopping there, The American Outdoorsman has also brought on a new Co-Host, award winning dog trainer and outdoor enthusiast, Kathy Simane. Kathy brings with her a passion for the great outdoors as well as training and competing in dog show events, such as in agility, obedience and hunt tests. Kathy has earned a multitude of awards and recognition with her 6-year old black lab, Ashton, including winning first place at the Labrador Nationals at Purina Farms in October, 2003, and earning AshtonÂs Hunting Retriever title in 2004.
ÂComing aboard with The American Outdoorsman is such an incredible opportunity for me and for women across the world. I strongly feel that people and companies need to recognize that more and more women are getting into the shooting sports and that it is OK to do so, says Kathy. Robert Fanning adds, ÂWomen make up one of the fastest growing demographics in the hunting and fishing communities, and with the addition of Kathy as Co-Host of The American Outdoorsman, we will hopefully help encourage them to actively participate in hunting, fishing and shooting sports even more.Â
The American Outdoorsman TV ShowÂs journey to being one of the highest quality hunting and fishing TV shows today directly reflects Complete Video Productions evolution, making this past year all the more meaningful. CVP actually made its beginning shooting and editing the American Outdoorsman TV Show, and has now evolved from a single focus post-production studio to a multi-faceted video production, 3D animation and design studio. Despite CVPÂs success creating cutting edge 3D animations for professional and college sports teams; corporate video productions for Bayer, DillardÂs and Fleishman Hillard; TV Commercials for Feist, Zeiss Optical and SigArms; and all manner of print as well as web design work for so many others, CVP still devotes all the time necessary into making The American Outdoorsman TV Show everything it is today.
