Vibren Releases Version 4.3 of Accelent SchemaBSP

Vibrens Accelent SchemaBSP Supports Intel PXA270 Applications Processor

Boxborough, MA (PRWEB) December 9, 2004 -- Vibren Technologies, an industry leader in embedded systems engineering, today announced the release of Accelent SchemaBSPÔ version 4.3. Among many new features, version 4.3 supports Intels PXA270 Applications Processor. Version 4.3 also continues the Schema tradition of speeding time to market by dramatically simplifying the development of Board Support Packages (BSPs).

Accelent SchemaBSP 4.3 is used in conjunction with Microsoft Platform Builder to facilitate rapid development of production-ready Board Support Packages for embedded devices, including headless devices, PDAs, tablets, Smartphones, cell phones and many other consumer and commercial devices.

CoreLinx, a smart configuration tool within Accelent SchemaBSP, allows developers to configure the source code to a unique schema design. This means developers can focus efforts on hardware dependencies rather than re-engineering the OAL, device drivers and boot loader.

Tom DeSisto, vice president of business development for Vibren stated, We continue to meet our customers expectations by supporting Intels latest XScale processor with our software development tool. Developers building Intel PXA270-based designs can now use Accelent SchemaBSP to quickly and easily create their own BSP."
