After graduation, Dr. Faoro moved to Rochester, Minnesota where he is currently a third-year Internal Medicine resident at Mayo Clinic (www.mayo.edu). His interests in this area include the molecular biology of hematological malignancies along with the very human quality of life" aspects surrounding cancer.
The second blogger on TheCancerBlog will be none other than Jason Calacanis' mother Catherine. As a healthcare professional for almost 30 years, Catherine has seen the healthcare industry change dramatically. "I believe that the most dramatic force-and the force with the most potential for significantly improving the quality and delivery of healthcare services-has been technology, particularly information technology (IT) and telecommunications, including the Internet," explains Catherine.
