April Hawkinson joins 1-800-DENTIST as Corporate Controller. She formerly served as senior auditor at Ernst & Young.

In this role, her primary responsibilities will include monthly financials, financial analysis and serving as an active member of the companys executive management team.
Prior to joining Futuredontics, Hawkinson was a senior auditor at the international public accounting firm of Ernst & Young in Los Angeles. In the assurance and advisory business services division at Ernst & Young, she performed audits of a variety on companies including internet, retail and manufacturing firms. Her significant clients included Futuredontics, Homestore®, Overture Services, Inc. (prior to the Yahoo!® acquisition) and Ticketmaster.
A California-certified public accountant, Hawkinson received a bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Boston College and a masters degree in accountancy from the University of Virginia.
