Forget People MagazineÂ?s Sexiest Alive. LetÂ?s talk about Search Engine StrategiesÂ? Sexiest People Alive. Why stop at just 10? Search Engine Marketing has 15 Sexiest People Alive:

SES San Jose several months back saw a paltry turnout for the B2B roundtable session. Why? I asked around… The general consensus echoed Search Engine Watch Editor, Chris Sherman’s sentiments, “B2B is not sexy…”

Au Contraire! Have you seen the hot figure on B2B…? Ooh la la! ClickZ’s Executive Editor, Rebecca Lieb reported, “companies such as Dow Chemical report click-thru-rates of up to seven percent on wildly more targeted and dramatically cheaper keywords than most B2C advertisers could hope for -- and the latter are happy to get two percent. Meanwhile, B2B companies are looking at five- and six-figure sales.” Talk about well-endowed …

And what about the players? Forget People Magazine’s Sexiest Alive. Let’s talk about Search Engine Strategies’ Sexiest People Alive. Why stop at just 10? Search Engine Marketing has 15 Sexiest People Alive:

Hot For Teacher?

For those of us never living out the co-ed/professor fling fantasy, I give you two sexy scholars: Berkeley’s John Battelle and NYU’s Rebecca Lieb.

Something for the Church Crowd?

Check out Fathom’s dapper, bad-boy done good…and then some, Chris Churchill; a.k.a. “Church.”

How about those Boy Toys at Jupiter Media? Tie a great big bow around Gary Stein, Nate Elliott and Niki Scevak…and make somebody’s holiday season.

Into accents or the exotic? How about the tall drink of water Paul Gardi of Teoma/Ask Jeeves, with his sultry South African accent, or AtlasDMT’s Young-Bean Song?

And with a naughty name like Bambi Francisco, who can resist? CBS Marketwatch’s Net Editor is drop-dead gorgeous. Count on her stats never getting boring…

Of course there’s the nice guy hotties like industry guru, Search Engine Watch’s Danny Sullivan and Business.com’s Todd Sims. (What was a nice guy like Danny doing in a place like Playboy?? Say it isn’t so!)

And double-trouble or double-the-pleasure, those bombshells at Range Media, Cheryle Pingel and Misty Locke have “good time” written all over their faces.

For those of you into micro-minnies, SuccessWorks’ Heather-Lloyd Martin never disappoints. And Sheryl Crow’s got nothing on our very own beauty, Jessie Chase Stricchiola of Alchemist Media.

Finishing off this feast for the eyes is Google’s Sergey Brin. While he is a tasty morsel, it’s too bad he comes packaged only in the “Sergey/Larry” combo meal. It’s cause for DQ.

No matter the industry, a little sex helps with the sale. And business to business search engine marketing and search engine optimization is sexier than ever. Send in the photos, and I’ll publish a calendar!

For the latest in B2B search engine optimization information, attend the Business to Business Forum in Chicago Tuesday, December 14th, at 2pm. http://www.jupiterevents.com/sew/fall04/agenda2.html#200-4
