Soldiers Can Be Entrepreneurs Too - Setting Up Websites Is a Passion for One Airborne Soldier

A soldier from Ft. Polk has joined the ranks of becoming an online entrepreneur. He learned what it took by reading and attending seminars in his spare time. This week he lauched three websites selling gourmet Christmas gift baskets and tins, home security systems and even an online drugstore.

(PRWEB) December 11, 2004 -- Soldiers are usually known for their unwavering service to the nation but few are publicly known for their other qualities and ambitions. A soldier at Ft. Polk, Louisiana has decided to pursue his passion of being an entrepreneur in his spare time. This week he launched three websites (www.royalholidaygifts.com, www.silentshepard.com, and www.onlinedrugstorehome.com ) in joint ventures to become an e-commerce entrepreneur. All three are quality websites in which he hopes everyone will enjoy using.

Enoch Kimmel, from Cadillac Michigan, joined the Army in 1995 while still in high school. He had dreamed of being in the Army ever since his grandfather told him stories about his service in WWII. He recalls by saying I remember my grandfather telling me stories about his tours in Burma and how the Japanese Zeros used to fly over and shoot at them during their lunch time. He would have to drop his food and run for the trenches."

Since his enlistment in Army, he has completed a 4 year degree, airborne school, and has went on to serve as military officer. While in school, he spent countless hours working on a computer. During these many hours he learned how to develop websites. Later after graduating he continued to use this new found skill, but it wasnt until he attended some e-commerce seminars hosted by Storesonline.com and Ebay.com did he actually end up getting his own website. He recalls the difficulty in making a website look professional and user friendly. Most of my websites have been just personal websites, because I couldnt figure out how to create a professional looking e-commerce website without spending as considerable sum. Now I know more of what I dont know and hopefully people can enjoy buying from my websites."

Enoch hopes that his Gourmet Gift site (www.royalholidaygifts.com) will attract many visitors wanting to buy gourmet popcorn, cookies, pretzels and chocolates held in baskets or collectable tins. Corporate employers or employees, friends, and family may find this a great site to purchase that quality holiday gift for the person who has everything.

His goal was to cover a wide range of audiences because of market cycles. He says that the baby boomers are going to be retiring soon and that aging population will need drug prescriptions." That is why he came up with the online drugs store site (www.onlinedrugstorehome.com). He hopes that it will serve anyone in need of most prescription drugs.

He also wants to address homeowners, which has reach a recent high, by offering home security systems with free installation. His site www.silentshepard.com offers quality Firstline security systems with a continuing service which monitors the house 24 hours a day.

Enoch hopes that people will enjoy using the products and services offered on his sites. He says that since Ive learned how to get sites up on the net, Im open to other joint ventures." If his sites are successful he plans to expand and market websites full time once he finishes his military obligations.
