Million Dollar Hole-In-One® 2004 Tournament was held in Vegas on December 6, 2004

Million Dollar Hole-In-One®’s Annual Tournament was held in Las Vegas at the renowned Revere at Anthem Concord Golf Course on December 6, 2004. The field included an international group of men and women from as far away as Finland, Spain and the UK. The skies were sunny and all enjoyed the scenic mountain, valley and city news.

The insurance underwriters sighed in relief, when one golfer was within inches of scoring an ace at the “million dollar” 165 yard par three 5th hole on the Concord Course. He did win the closest to the pin contest where the Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer Contest was held.

This was the first time the Million Dollar Hole-In-One® Annual Tournament offered the Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer Contest. Under the leadership of Million Dollar Hole-In-One®’s two leading franchise owners and Wilson Sporting Goods, one hundred percent of the field contributed. Glyn Evans, who heads our Western European franchise, reminded all in attendance of the seriousness of the disease as measured by the statistic that one in six males in the US would contract prostate cancer.

Gene Rebhan, a Million Dollar Hole-In-One® founder, was the master of ceremonies at the Tournament Awards Dinner. It was held at MGM Mirage’s Treasure Island Hotel. It’s steps away from the Venetian, the Wynn, the Mirage and Fashion Show Mall. Gene indicated “he didn’t know which offered the contestants and attending spouses and guests more enjoyment, the world class golf, gaming, entertainment (including the national rodeo championship) or dining. He did note there were rumors that the most frequently purchased item was additional luggage to bring home holiday presents bought for friends and relatives. There was no question that the attendees enjoyed all that Las Vegas had to offer”.

About Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer

The Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer campaign invaded golf and country clubs nationally in 2004, enlisting golfers to join honorary national spokesperson Arnold Palmer in the mission to eliminate prostate cancer as a life-threatening illness.

Participating clubs facilitate a fun event to raise both awareness and funds to support research directed by the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Arnie’s Army began moving across the nation in 2003 with a goal of enlisting hundreds of thousands as members of Arnie’s Army and raising several million dollars for the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s mission. For more information, please visit
