Digital-Camera-Resources.com has launched its new website that makes it easy for digital camera shoppers to find information, retailers and camera related products online.
Consumers can search the site to find a wide variety of links to vendors, digital camera accessories, and product reviews. The site also offers regularly updated news with stories and articles covering the digital camera market.
"With so many digital cameras on the market and so much to know about the new technology, it was hard keeping up with what's available" says Clifton Boyce content manager for Digital-Camera-Resources.com. "It made perfect sense to create a web directory so shoppers could find out everything they needed in one convenient location."
According to Reuters, global shipments of digital cameras are expected to jump 39 percent this year, from 47.9 million units last year to 68.6 million units, which is actually a decrease in the adoption rates from 2002 to 2003.
IDC, a technology market research firm based in Framingham, Massachusetts estimates worldwide digital camera sales to be about 10 million in the fourth quarter, up 33 percent from a year earlier.
Data from Overture.com (a wholly owned subsidiary of Yahoo!, Inc.) shows over 1,424,596 searches were performed in the month of October that had the search term "digital camera" in it.
With accessories like printers, high gloss photo paper, tri-pods and even lighting readily available; amateur photographers, professionals, small business owners, Dad's and even Grandma's can capture their creativity in just one click.
Digital cameras not only make great gifts, but they're also helpful in bringing to life special moments from the holiday season and all year long.
From low-cost disposable digital cameras to high-priced high-tech accessories, visitors will find the site to be a useful resource for digital camera related information.
