Randi Kaufman Named Investment Manager by The Hampshire Companies
The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment fund manager with equity in assets valued at over $1 billion, today announced the appointment of Randi Kaufman as Investment Manager for the firms recently closed Hampshire Partners Fund VI, a $235 million real estate discretionary investment fund.
(PRWEB) December 15, 2004 -- The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment fund manager with equity in assets valued at over $1 billion, today announced the appointment of Randi Kaufman as Investment Manager for the firms recently closed Hampshire Partners Fund VI (Fund VI), a $235 million real estate discretionary investment fund.
In her capacity as Fund VIs Investment Manager, Kaufman will provide oversight of the valuation and growth of Fund VIs assets, including the supervision of the funds valuation methodology and tracking of the funds key performance indicators.
Kaufmans institutional knowledge of the real estate industry was honed through practical experience as Vice President of Asset Management for a number of high-profile commercial and residential properties located throughout the New York metropolitan area. For two years prior to joining The Hampshire Companies, Kaufman served as Vice President of Asset Management for Normandy Realty Partners, LLC of Morristown, NJ managing assets for 1370 Avenue of the Americas, New York City and The Riverside Portfolio, Westport, Connecticut. For two and a half years preceding that post Kaufman was Vice President of Asset Management for Max Capital Management, NY, managing three New York City properties: 1440 Broadway, 350 Madison Avenue, and 450 West 33rd Street. Expanding her depth of the industry, Kaufman acted as a tenant management consultant at Insignia/ESG, NYC which helped hone her understanding of 'the other side of real estate industry. For more than ten years prior to this, Kaufman served as an Investment Manager for the Real Estate Investment Group of MetLife Insurance Company, headquartered in New York City. In this capacity, she managed properties throughout the tri-state area including 200 Park Avenue (The MetLife Building) and 551 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan and the Met Executive Tower (the Metromedia Building), and Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Kaufman received her BBA from Pace University in 1985 and her MBA from New York University in 1998. She is married to Peter Nicoletti and has two children.
