"The HP Music Video Awards provided a fantastic career opportunity to filmmakers, and brought incredible new content for our online audience," said Mika Salmi, CEO of Shockwave.com parent AtomShockwave Corp. "We thank HP for its generous support."

"Shockwave.com ™ has a track record of innovative brand entertainment programs, and this one is no exception," said Mary Bermel, Sr. Manager, Global Brand Advertising at HP. "We are very pleased with the results of the HP Music Video awards—proof of creativity enabled by technology that is increasingly digital and personal."

The winning videos have already attracted notice within the music industry.

"Wow! It's amazing that these videos were created by up-and-coming producers rather than veteran directors!" said Kevin Lyman, Warped Tour. "Shockwave.com ™ and HP Music have created a hip and original program that brings cutting-edge filmmaking talent together with cutting edge bands."
